An iconic venue
The Olympic Sports Pavilion, "Tae Kwon Do" is a premier indoor arena located in Palaio Faliro. It served as the venue for the handball preliminaries and the taekwondo competition during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
Construction was completed on December 20, 2003, and the arena was officially inaugurated on August 12, 2004, just before the start of the Olympic Games.
Today, it is a landmark venue that hosts top-tier business exhibitions, conferences, and international sporting, musical, and cultural events. The venue is easily accessible via Athens' main road networks and public transportation.
