Faliro Sports Pavilion, "Tae Kwon Do", Athens, Greece
The Faliro Sports Pavilion (Handball and Taekwondo Arena) is an indoor multipurpose venue located in Palaio Faliro.
Initially built to host the handball preliminaries and the taekwondo competition during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, the arena was completed on December 20, 2003, and officially inaugurated on August 12, 2004.
Today, it stands as an iconic venue, hosting premier business exhibitions, major conferences, and international sporting, musical, and cultural events.
Its strategic location offers seamless access via Athens' main road arteries and an extensive public transport network.
The Faliro Sports Pavilion, "Tae Kwon Do", is located in Palaio Faliro, adjacent to Flisvos Marina and the coastal avenue.
Situated at a key transport hub along the coast, the venue offers direct access to Athens city center, Piraeus, and the Athens-Lamia National Road, making it easily reachable by both private vehicle and public transport.
From the Airport: You can take Metro Line 3 to Syntagma Square station, or to Piraeus station, where you can transfer to the Tram or a local bus.
Express Bus: Alternatively, you can use the X96 Express bus line directly from the airport.
Using the Athens Metro and the Tram, is fast and convenient.
